Cookies & Local Preferences

The static Everyday Cost Lab application currently sets no advertising or analytics cookies and does not save calculator entries or search queries in browser storage. Search filtering and calculator math work in memory in your browser.

Hosting is separate

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Depending on the security features and challenges in use, Cloudflare may set security cookies. Those cookies are managed by Cloudflare rather than by the calculator or search code. See Cloudflare’s cookie documentation for the features that may use them.

Cloudflare analytics and performance

The delivered site includes a Cloudflare analytics and performance beacon. According to Cloudflare’s documentation, the beacon does not access cookies or browser storage to collect its measurements. This is separate from any security cookies Cloudflare may use.

Advertising remains disabled

No consent-management platform is currently integrated. Advertising remains disabled. If advertising or additional analytics services are introduced, this notice will explain their providers, cookies and storage, and the choices available to visitors.
